Infinity Mind

Schoolmasters,  scholars, psychologists, psychiatrists, contemporary poets/versifiers, Western Religious leaders,Western Philosophers, bookworms, Intellectuals called mutukallimun  (people of words) in Islam  who originated with Hassan the old man of the mountains: Assassins, now suicide bombers, killers of Sufis.  Excess verbalisers are prone to this widespread malady that is almost totally unrecognised especially by themselves, yet it leads to severe mental conditions; eg neuroses and depressions coming from poverty in words.

Another shortcoming from the same source is humour; there are huge divisions in humour between people of the same race  and even more so between different races stemming from the same verbalisers and those with infinity minds. Infinity minds have infinitely more resources than verbalisers enabling them to see jokes and humour that are far more diverse. My friend Sandeep,  empowerer of  the Youth of India as Representative of the Duke of Edinburgh, said that competition between word thinkers and infinity minds is not fair. Nothing  competes with infinity mind. Creative infinity mind is a brain expanded to  infinity. In contrast word thinkers are deprived minds, thinking at a minimum level, struggling in every fields like superior troglodytes. By every field I mean one’s whole life: As Executive, General, Poet, Artist  in everything they fall hopelessly  short.  Trogs   seem an appropriate epithet for such people.

Infinity mind is the way of thought of Prophets: Buddha ,Christ and Mohammed as well as the Saint Rumi-----they lacked only modern techniques such as advanced mathematics. Everything verbalisers encounter, they verbalise even sacred scriptures being  blind to beauty and the wonderlands of infinity mind.

Sandeep joins Sector Skill Council for Plumbing

The Plumbing Industry faces the mammoth challenge of huge gap between the supply of skilled labour and the demand of skilled labour. A very small percentage of the plumbing workforce is actually skilled in India. And it becomes our duty as plumbing professionals and members of IPA and other various plumbing related organizations and associations to to ensure that skilled and certified manpower in adequate numbers is provided across industries using plumbing skills to raise plumbing standards in India to global levels.

The need for skilled labour in the plumbing sector and plumbing sector being the most neglected yet the most important sector from the point of view of health and sanitation and its importance in the Construction Sector, was thus born the Indian Plumbing Skills Council – which is headed by like minded plumbing industry heavyweights and professionals who have dedicated their lives towards the advancement of the plumbing industry. IPSC is a Sector Skill Council  for the plumbing industry in India to cater to its specific needs and demands. NSDC (National Skills Development Council) will support IPSC to develop the certificate programme for the plumbing industry.

Sandeep Dutt is  the first Operations Head the SSC for plumbing.

Rule-of-law society

Why how we do anything means everything ....
Dov Seidman in the book states

"We live in a rule-of-law society, and due to our history of ever evolving toward fairer rule making, we have grown very comfortable with rules. In fact, our reliance on them has become part of the problem; we turn to law to solve too much. If the law says we can, then we do. We're very good at can versus can't thinking. Our habits of mind are so strong in this area, in fact, that we've become muscle-bound, as overdeveloped as a bodybuilder trying to touch his toes - strong but inflexible. We overrespect rules, which leads us into a quagmire where all our actions get mucked up in the spectrum of legal permissibility. We're strong in this way that we begin to feel like we can do anything as long as we obey the law."

What we need is to live a 'principled life' and no more a 'life of principles'. Yes we do preach a lot, let us introspect, do we practice? The world today needs people who are not only following the rule-of-law society but are helping build an exemplary life with respect for each-and-every person, this will free us from the Rule-of-law society and that will be the true freedom for all of us. Let us work towards a life that is lived to the fullest and is valued to the full limit.

E= 4S (EDUCATION =  SERVICE+SKILLS+SPORTS+STUDY)
Education = 10, and every person for us is a full 10/10.
What matters is the emphasis we as individuals give to each of the four S's. For some 'Study' could be full 10, some 'Sports' could be 10, yet the most complete individuals will value each of the four S's and find themselves.

Govt adopts marks-for-sports plan

Chetan Chauhan, Hindustan Times
A proposal to give marks to students for achieving certain level of physical fitness and setting up two sports institutes to improve India's Olympic medal tally got a stamp of approval from the Cabinet on Thursday. Mr. Maken had unveiled the National Physical Fitness Programme providing additional weightage in academic performance to more physically fit students from class V onwards.
The students will be graded periodically with stars based on their physical fitness level.
"The scheme needs to be motivational rather than being coercive and to obtain this, the achievement of fitness by a child has to be rewarded in a manner similar to a reward for academic achievements," Maken had said, while releasing the exposure draft of the programme on August 31.
Fitness evaluation will have six components --- cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, explosive strength (jumping) and body composition (percentage of body fat).
Fitness tests will be executed twice a year - in June and January - which will provide an idea of the status as well as level of improvement of the student's fitness during an academic session.
The programme is aimed at improve health of citizens as a recent World Health Organisation report said that one out of three Indians would be either a coronary patient or diabetic by 2030.
The ministry also wanted to set up National Institute of Sports Sciences and Medicines at a cost of Rs. 500 and National Institute of Sports Coaching to provide cutting edge support to medal hopefuls as part of its Olympics 2020 plan.
The three proposals of the ministry were part of the Planning Commission's 12th five-year plan (2012-17), whose draft was approved by the Cabinet.
The plan will now be considered by the National Development Council --- a body of all chief ministers and crucial Central ministers - probably in November

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) - Skill Development in India

Sandeep Dutt to head the Indian Plumbing Skills Council (IPSC)

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), co-promoted by the finance ministry with the mandate to involve the private sector in training 500 million people by 2022, is planning to set up 28 Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) across verticals.

Currently, 27-28 SSC proposals are in the pipeline. We hope to create these over a period of time,” said Dilip Chenoy, chief executive officer of NSDC.

It has already incorporated six sector skills councils in automotive - called Automotive Skills Development Council, energy, retail, private security, media, entertainment and animation, and IT and ITeS. The function of NSDC would be to support the funding requirement of SSC and represent in project implementation. Each SSC would have its own governing body, he said.

One such Skills Development Council is the Indian Plumbing Skills Council (IPSC)
