The Learning Forward India Board meets in Feb and August at 9 a.m. on the 9th day of the month and reviews the work of the Foundation.

Rajinder Pal Devgan
An educationist with international experience with nearly five decades of experience as an Educationist and serving as a School Leader for schools in India and overseas. Mr Devgan brings rich experience as an administrator, sportsperson, and teacher champion. His love for children further strengthens the My Good School philosophy of every individual's personal and social development with the active support of teachers and faith in experiential learning and learning outside the four walls of the classroom. Former House Master and Dean at The Doon School, a Member of the Board of Governors at Welham Boys' School. Mr Devgan is the Chairman and conscience keeper for all of us at the Learning Forward India Foundation. 

Ambassador Aftab Seth
President of the Global Schools Foundation (GSF) has had a long and distinguished career in the Indian Foreign Service. He has formerly served as an Ambassador of India in countries like Japan, Vietnam, Greece and the Federal States of Micronesia. His contributions include cities like Beirut, Cairo, Hamburg, Jakarta and Karachi. Tokyo conferred the "Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun Services" - a top award in Japan. Amb. Seth provides timely guidance and newer strategies to GSF to help it grow. Author of A Volume of Poems -"Pillars of Landscape", published bilingually in English and Japanese; A book in Japanese:" How Much Weight Can an Elephant Lose?" for which he was awarded the Mahatma Gandhi-Martin Luther King Daisaku Ikeda Award; A book" If an Elephant Loses Weight It Is Still an Elephant"; and A Diplomat's Garden'. His early years at The Doon School probably gave him the licence to skill. Aftab stood first in practically every subject, became a Rhodes Scholar, and finally, became a much-acclaimed Ambassador of India. A Stephanian, a prolific speaker and actor, lectures worldwide at universities and think tanks.

Karl Clauset
Education consultant, author, and successful education consultant with over 25 years of experience creating and rejuvenating learning communities and working with school leadership teams, principals, and central office staff in the U.S. and Canada to improve teacher and leader practices and student learning. He aims to help schools and districts improve performance through collaboration on student needs. Co-author of Schools Can Change and the lead author of Schoolwide Action Research for PLCs. Karl co-presented concurrent sessions at many Learning Forward/NSDC annual conferences and at the 2016 Visible Learning conference. A senior consultant with BKL & Associates, an educational consulting firm, and with the South Coast Educational Collaborative. Previously, Karl was a senior consultant with Focus on Results, part of the Education Development Center's school reform and international programs divisions, and a faculty member and grants and contracts director with the Boston University School of Education. Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Boston University and an ASCD award for an outstanding dissertation on effective and ineffective schooling dynamics. Taught in secondary schools in Zambia, Tanzania, and Indonesia.

Prof. Anupam Sibal
MD, FIMSA, FIAP, FRCP (Glasg), FRCP (Lon), FRCPCH, FAAP President, Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO); Group Medical Director, Apollo Hospitals Group; Senior Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals; Clinical Professor, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia; Member, Asia - Pacific Advisory Council of Joint Commission International (JCI); Author of The National Best Seller "Is "our Child Ready to Face the World?". A "paediatrician for twenty-five years, trained in India and the U.K. Has published more than one hundred articles in the medical literature; serves on the editorial board of three journals; has edited a textbook of paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology.

Monisha Datta 
Director of The Doon Girls School, Dehradun, with a master's in computers and software development and an MBA in advertising. Her love for children made her leave the corporate sector. Cofounder of The Doon Girls School and Dehradun Boys School. She has actively designed child-centric curricula and pedagogies for school children. Conducts 'training the trainer programs and has 20-plus years of experience. Currently engaged in understating the global education systems and devising curricula and pedagogies for senior schools based on international requirements. 

Jugjiv Singh
Director of Marksharks has 37 years + experience in the Corporate Sector in Sales/Marketing and running Businesses in India and overseas. A management graduate, Jugjiv did his AMP from Harvard and has worked with large MNCs like Dupont/ICI, large Indian companies like Ballarpur Industries, as well as in smaller Indian organisations like Tahiliani Design across a broad set of Industries, Chemicals, Paper, Certification, Home Comfort, Fashion and Education. He is a Director with an ed-tech startup, Marksharks and an angel investment network - Keiretsu Forum. Supports Gyanoday, which focuses on the holistic education of the underprivileged. 

Christa Campsall
Education Coach and Author, an enthusiast who enjoys engaging with students and educators in the global community as a facilitator, online instructor and mentor. Throughout her career as a K 12 classroom teacher, learning support teacher, unique education chair, and teacher-leader, Christa witnessed consistent successes as she educated learners to uncover inner wisdom, well-being and resilience. Based on these results, Christa collaborated with the National Resilience Resource Center (NRRC) to create My Guide Inside (MGI), a Principle-Based K12 Curriculum aligned with 21st-century competencies. MGI Online is newly developed to serve learners in India and the global community.

Dr Charu Mathur
Advocate on the Record Supreme Court of India. Dr. Mathur was a regular practitioner before the Hon'ble Court and represented parties like Cricketing bodies, educational institutions like IITJodhpur, NLU-Jodhpur, BPUT-Orissa, Maharana Pratap Agricultural University, Gujarat University, Jodhpur University, Private Engineering and Medicine colleges of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Orissa. She is counsel for various High Courts, PSUs like National Fertilizer Limited, State instrumentalists like Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation and leading private groups like Texmaco. Dr. Mathur is a rare combination of litigation and advisory work and academics. She designed a course curriculum for various programs at various institutions. Her expertise in the academic field lies in providing structured programs for legal aspects of the Business to management institutions.

Prof. Peter Church OAM
Chairperson AFG Venture Group. Peter has a B.Com (UNSW), LLB (Sydney), LLM (London) and LHD (Sri Sharada, Delhi). He was born in Sydney and has spent almost his entire career as a lawyer and corporate adviser in Southeast Asia and India. In 1994, he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) by the Australian Government for promoting Business between Australia and South East Asia. He has been appointed an Adjunct Professor at Curtin Business School, a Distinguished Professor at Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management in New Delhi and a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai. He holds several directorships in listed and unlisted companies and has written many books on Asia. Some years ago, he commenced producing an oral history podcast on the lives of elderly Myanmar citizens born during the British colonial period who have lived through tumultuous times since then. He is interested in the philosophy of Buddhism and was ordained as a Buddhist monk in Myanmar in 1995.  

Peter Kaye AM ESM JP
Director & Principal, Consultant Consult group. CEO The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award – Australia. Bec, Grad Dip Ad Edn, Dip Comp Dir, FAICD, FRSA, CAHRI. Over 30 years of senior management, Board governance and H.R. management consulting experience in 22 countries. Peter is an educational advocate, both formal and informal and was awarded (2008) The Sydney Region Achievement & Service Award for Outstanding Service by a Parent or Community Member. He is the founder and former Chair of the Australian Social & Ethical Accountability Centre, a former Editorial Panel member of the Australian National University's Pacific Economic Journal and a former lecturer in Adult Education at the University of Technology Sydney. Peter's other professional and voluntary appointments include Deputy Chair of Community First Credit Union, CEO of Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in Australia; Chair of Advisory Council, SIDS & Kids; Judge, Local & Regional NSW Small Business Awards; Local Commander/Inspector, State Emergency Services (Ashfield-Leichhardt), and Advisory Board Member, Kids in Need NSW. Peter was appointed by Australia's Governor General as a Member of the Order of Australia (2014) and was the Australia Day Citizen of the Year for his local community (2014). In 2021, Peter was awarded the prestigious Emergency Service Medal for his volunteer leadership in emergency and disaster management and education. Peter is a current Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, and a Chartered Australian Human Resources Institute member.

Sanjay Jain
His focus is primarily on M&A and equity fundraising from private and public markets. Before this, he worked extensively in Corporate Finance at Rabo Bank Cofounder India (6 years), PWC (2 years), Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited (6 years) and J.M. Financial (2 years). He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Diploma from ICFAI in India. 

Ravi Santlani
A seasoned professional with a strong background in the education sector. As the cofounder and CEO of Scoonews, Ravi has been instrumental in revolutionising how news and information are disseminated in the education community. With over 15 years of experience in the media industry, Ravi brings expertise in content creation, strategic planning, and business development. His visionary leadership has helped Scoonews become a trusted platform for educators, parents, and students. Ravi's commitment to promoting quality education and his ability to adapt to changing trends make him an invaluable asset to the board.

Sandeep Dutt
Founder of Learning Forward India. Skilled and passionate School Improvement Coach with a proven track record of transforming educational institutions. Background in education and instructional design, a wealth of knowledge and experience. Experience with diverse schools nationwide, providing targeted support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
