The Fabindia School story: The Fabindia School, located in Bali, Rajasthan, India, was established in 1992 by William Bissell, the managing director of Fabindia, a global retail brand specialising in handmade and eco-friendly products.
The school's motto is "Education builds character, and character creates a nation."
Initially, the school was to educate the children of Fabindia's rural artisans, who were part of the company's supply chain. Over time, the school expanded its reach, and now it offers quality education to over 750 children from across the region.
The school provides education from kindergarten to the 12th grade and follows the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) curriculum. It also emphasises practical and hands-on learning through extracurricular activities like art, sports, and music.
