Right To Education

Right To Education:
RTE Portal
The RTE portal righttoeducation.in serves as your one-stop source for all Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 related information and updates from across the country. It is an initiative of Centre for Civil Society (CCS) under its School Choice Campaign (SCC). It is currently run in partnership with Central Square Foundation (CSF).
This interactive website gives you everything you ever wanted to know about the RTE. Begin by choosing your state to get a bird’s eye view of the status of implementation of RTE including 25% quota in your state. Shift through tabs to view all Acts & Rules, Reports & Case studies, and News & Opinion pertaining to your state. Move further to browse through the RTE related HC judgements. To file a grievance, find the contact details of RTE representatives of SCPCR. For a pan-India view, explore our Resources section for RTE Act, Model Rules, Parliamentary debates and questions, case studies & reports, and Supreme Court judgments on RTE.

Visit the Query Corner to submit any questions you may have regarding the intricacies of the Act, its provisions, benefits, and limitations. We receive and answer over 10 queries a week! You can also engage with other stakeholders in our Ask a Question form to debate, discuss or get information about the Act. You can also submit your RTE related grievances on our Complaints section which we would then forward to the respective state education department.
